Robin Schooley Skibber is a lifelong Pike County resident with a career serving our communities. She will be the experienced leader our community needs.

Robin Schooley Skibber is a lifelong resident of Pike and Wayne Counties and attended our local public schools K-12.  . A Registered Dietician and Penn State graduate, Robin’s public service career has been dedicated to advocating for seniors to avoid unnecessary or premature hospitalization or institutionalization.  For 22 years, she served as the director of Pike County’s Area Agency on Aging.


 

Since stepping down from her role with Pike County in 2023, she has worked with Governor Josh Shapiro’s Pennsylvania Food Policy Committee to evaluate and advance solutions to improve food and nutrition security, local food economics, public health, environmental sustainability, and stewardship, including reduction of food waste. 

 

Her work with governmental and non-profit agencies, and experience managing the ever-changing legislative mandates from Washington and Harrisburg, gives Robin the experience and perspective to shape legislation that truly helps, rather than hinders, the delivery of human services.

 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Robin is a devoted wife to her husband, Robert Skibber. Robert retired after 28 years teaching special education in the Delaware Valley School Districts. 

 

Together, they have built a life rooted in service to others and a commitment to their community. Robin, Robert,and their two children, Rose LoDolce and Jack LoDolce, both Wallenpaupack graduates, are all “outdoors people” with a profound appreciation for the pristine natural environment we enjoy in Pike and Wayne Counties. Every year they promote and chair the “Floatin’ for MS” fundraiser that supports local efforts for people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. 

 

As the Democratic nominee for the 139th PA House of Representatives seat, Robin brings not only her professional expertise but also her personal values of compassion, integrity, and dedication to the forefront of her campaign. She is committed to addressing critical issues such as mental health and addiction support, fighting for and protecting abortion access and education, and protecting the environment, ensuring a brighter future for Pike and Wayne Counties.
