Robin was born and raised, and went to K-12 schools in Pike and Wayne Counties. With a lifetime of community volunteerism, more than 20 years as director of the Area Agency on Aging, and a passion for positive change, Robin is prepared to represent the 139th district in Harrisburg.
The 139th District includes (in Pike): Blooming Grove, Greene, Lackawaxen, Milford, Palmyra, Shohola and Westfall Townships and Milford and Matamoras Boroughs, and (in Wayne), Cherry Ridge, Dreher, Lake, Lehigh, Palmyra, Paupack, Salem, South Canaan and Sterling Townships, and Hawley Borough.
If you believe that your representative should support women making decisions about her own body instead of letting politicians make those decisions, then Robin is your candidate.
If you believe that your representative should support public education instead of attacking it, then Robin is your candidate.
If you believe that your representative should fight to address the epidemic of gun violence by supporting laws that the majority of Pennsylvanians support instead of doing zero, then Robin is your candidate.
If you believe that your representative should represent ALL people in the district instead of focusing on divisive issues that aren't even relevant to our daily lives, then Robin is your candidate.
If you believe that your representative should do everything we can to invest in clean energy sources so we can protect our beautiful environment instead of investing in fossil fuels, then Robin is your candidate.

Closed Primaries are bad for Democracy
Pennsylvania has a closed primary system, meaning that only voters registered with a given party can vote in that party’s primary election. Voters who are unaffiliated are prohibited from voting in a primary election.
By embracing over 1.2 million disenfranchised voters in Pennsylvania, we are welcoming fresh ideas and new perspectives to the voters in Pennsylvania.
Robin Skibber will support legislation that will give independents the right to vote in every election.
